All palms like foliage feeding feed twice a week in the spring, summer and autumn, once a week in the winter. Palms like to have their foliage wet at least two or three times a week more if time permits. Two or three times through the growing season deep fertilise with Dynamic Lifter. Use these fertilisers at planting and use heaps. For palm seeds that grow either pull out and remove or plant in pots to give away or sell.

PALMS IN AUSTRALIA David Jones

Use Gypsum, & Dynamic Lifter under and around palms when planting. Don't hesitate to try new varieties, the rule of thumb is study up on their habitat then work out if you can provide similar conditions in your garden, or provide them with the moisture levels required, then go for it. ~ indicates palms in his present garden, they range from small plants to mature palnts.
